Beaches and the waters that reach them can sometimes have underlying and dangerous rip currents. So though some of these beaches are great to relax on we ONLY recommend swimming and snorkeling at LifeGuarded Beaches.

Before heading out to those beaches, please check the Kauai Beach Report link for each beach.

Sheraton Beach

Great for the whole family, enjoy playing in the mellow waves, try your hand at surfing with our sister company Hawaiian Style Surfing, or just relax in a shady cabana where the weather is perfect in sunny Poipu.

When you get hungry there’s options for delicious food and drinks right on the beach. You cannot go wrong here! (Ask your reservations specialist about discounted cabanas and beach rentals at this beach!)

Maha'ulepu Trail Beaches

Some of the most dramatic coastline scenery in all of Kauai can be seen on the latter end of the Heritage trail.

At multiple stops along this easy hike, you will be rewarded with gorgeous beach views and strong wind to cool you down.

Shipwrecks Beach

This adventurous beach will always be a local favorite! Get your tan on laying in the sand or. stay cool hammocking in the shady palm trees.

Watch seasoned local’s cliff jump off the famous point or surf the big waves that are usually pounding the shore. Make sure to hike up to do some
whale watching in the winter months

Poipu Beach Park

✚ Lifeguard Present

This is the most popular beach on the South Shore for good reason! It’s a series of golden sand crescents strung together where beach-goers will find snorkeling, swimming, a natural wading pool, boogie-boarding and surfing.

Rent some snorkel gear from us and head to the the reef directly out from the Marriott Waiohai Resort for some deeper water and plethora of tropical fish
